Finally sat down and finished it. Kinda glad with how it turned out. I really didn't expect making it the way I did. I half expected it to end up with Joey and Jessica falling in love and getting murdered at the end together, but I rather like what I did with it.

For the Hell of it, I decided I'm going to make some dedications. Because it's a fanfic and unoriginal ideas need dedications. First, I'd like to dedicate this to Tristan Winningham, for a couple reasons. One, he was the only character other than me that actually existed in real life. Second, he's my Slenderman hunting buddy. Second, (yes, second again) I'd like to dedicate this to Mary, because she was the only person I ever remember saying they wanted to read it. (to be fair, I don't think I told very many people) and if for no other reason, than to dedicate this to more than one person. And finally, I would like to dedicate this to Stephen King. In his book Misery, he tells the real reason why authors make dedications. I don't remember the exact quote, so I'll paraphrase. No author writes for someone else, they write because of the joy of writing. It's like a drug to them, and they love it. They just put dedications to make themselves not feel like selfish assholes.
